Relinquishing Paint

To paint on the canvas of life,

With a brush of certainty,

Is to relinquish the use of

Those colours that essay

One's anguish and envy at

Another man's prosperity,

Without oneself tasting

What is bitter and

Meandering, ultimately into Light.

It has, and will always be,

That to try is never criminal,

For it is best to know for

Oneself, what is right, and

What is not.

The Thin Thread Of Reason

It was a time when the world
Hung in balance,
Courtesy a thin thread of reason.

It was then, that the equations
Shifted to give way to anarchy.
Anarchy in an avatar, never
Seen before. It uprooted
Reason from the minds of the lesser
And gave no glade in the murky
Woods of despair, to the able.

This, was the undoing
Of many a man and the making
Of a New World Order.
It was then that everything
Changed …. for worse, forever.
